Campsite Tariff

Camp fees and accounts must be paid in full before departure. Weekend visitors to settle accounts by 6:00pm on Saturday.

 

Basic Fees:
Camping: per person, per night Scouts: £3.50 Non Scouts: £5.00
Day Visitors: per person, per full day £1.50 75p less than 5hrs
Bispham House*: per 24hrs Scouts: £250 Non Scouts: £350
Harold’s Hut: per 24hrs Camp fees plus £10 per night

*Minimum booking 2 nights at weekends. Hire commences at 5.00 pm on day of arrival and ends at 4.00pm on day of departure. Daily/evening rates are negotiable. Contact Booking Secretary or Site Warden.
 

Activities:
Equipment will only be hired to adult leaders. Instructors are provided subject to availability, however we may not always be able to guarantee this and so leaders are advised to have alternative programme plans.
 

Instructed Activities: Charges per session (2 ½ hours – maximum number in group 12).  All equipment included. Morning Session 10:00 / 12:30 — Afternoon Session 14:00 / 16:30
Archery (lost/broken arrows £4 each) £70.00
Shooting (4 rifles, 200 pellets, targets) † £70.00
Climbing * £75.00
Leap of faith/Crate Stacking/Tree Climb * £75.00
Abseiling * £75.00

† Extra pellets and targets £5. Written permission from parents must be obtained for U16s.

* The above facilities may be hired without instruction and equipment at a cost of £25 per session. Groups using their own instructors must provide evidence of competence, e.g. climbing or shooting permit.
 

Self Instructed Activities: Charges per session (2 ½ hours unless otherwise stated – maximum number in group 12). All equipment included.
Orienteering – per map, no time limit £00.20
Grass Sledges – each per hour £15.00
Pioneering – incl spars, ropes £20.00
Raft Building – incl spars, barrels, ropes £20.00
Kayaking – per boat £15.00
Bouldering Wall Free

 

Games Equipment – per 2½ hour session:
Equipment must be returned clean and complete. Any damage must be reported and paid for.

Badminton – up to four people £5.00 Boules £5.00
Croquet £5.00 Football – posts and net £5.00
Giant Connect4 £5.00 Giant Jenga £5.00
Giant Snakes & Ladders £5.00 Horseshoe Quoits £5.00
Lawn Darts £5.00 Parachute £5.00
Rounders/Softball £5.00 Skittles £5.00

    Bispham Hall Scout Estate Online

    Welcome to the website of Bispham Hall Scout Estate.

    We are a sixty acre activity centre situated almost midway between Manchester and Liverpool.

    The site offers facilities suitable for groups of all ages, and although intended primarily for Scouts, we are happy to welcome Guides and other bona-fide youth organisations or schools.
